How To Cope With Non Serving Alcoholic Parties.

If you love your alcohol so much and probably undergoing an  alcoholic treatment, you may have to plan for the type of  parties or events you attend.It will not be appropriate for you to go to the parties or events where alcohol is served. You  should try to avoid birthday parties where alcohol is served or
events where wine tasting is the order of the day.There is a major characteristic difference in the life of an alcoholic and non alcoholic person. Please try as much as possible to abstain from parties where alcohol is served. This may include family gatherings.

You may even let your friends and family members appreciate your  current situation. Once they do, they will surely go along with you. They will be prepared show some understanding to your plight. Some people may resent the idea of not taking alcohol at parties. You should not be disappointed if such people fail to turn up. It is a very risky venture for an alcoholic to find himself in an alcoholic drinking environment. The situation may be embarrassing.

You may explore the opportunity of having non alcoholic drinking friends. Start attending group meetings. From there,you should be able to make new friends with possible family interactions  where things are done together to the mutual benefit of each individual member.Explore other possible human   If you are organizing your children's parties, please make sure it is alcoholic free. Impress it upon the adult guests
at the parties that they are children's parties and alcohol will not be served. You may even tell them that there is an alcoholic problem in the family and you will not encourage alcoholic drinking within family environment.
