SOME WORLD RECORDS IN POSTAGE STAMPS

1.The earliest stamp was put on sale May 6 1840 1d Penny Black of Great Britain, Queen Victoria, 68,158,080 printed. Used/red  cancel.

2. Sweden's three skiling Banco color error auctioned in Switzerland on November 8, 1996 for 2.27 million USA $.

3. 6.3 by 4.33inches Marshall Islands  75-cent issued Oct. 30, 1997 is the  largest stamp ever issued for postage.

4. 0.31 by 0.37 inches 10-cent and 1-peso Colombian State of Bolivar issued in 1863-1866 were the smallest stamps ever issued.

5. The 1-cent black on magnenta of British Guiana issued in 1856 is the rarest stamp in  existence.
